news 13 / 09 / 12 - Latest News So I'm not dead, real life finally caught up with me and I don't seem to have much time on my hands any more.
Cutting to the chase, I've made a couple of tiny bug fixes and got a new version ready...and you can now
grab the source code if you want to play around with it. I also fixed the broken bits of this website (finally). Enjoy!
09 / 02 / 09 I've been fairly busy, and have prepared
some new downloads, including
MAME Resolution Tool v3.2,
ShifterMame (M.A.M.E.
build for driving/yoke games with fixed inputs) and
TX1Mame, a custom
M.A.M.E.
build only supporting TX-1 (tx1 & tx1a) with fixed shifter inputs. I've also been working on
MAMEWAH, and
you can grab v1.65
here. I found a very small bug with this so I
hope to fix that and put a new version up here as soon as poss. 18 / 06 / 08 OK I decided to release new versions of a
few things... Get to the downloads page for
MAMEWAH
v1.63 (minor fixes and additions), and
MAME Resolution Tool v3 which now has native -listxml
reading to make it easily compatible with
M.A.M.E.
v0.84+. Something a little different...I have
uploaded source changes & binary for a custom version of
M.A.M.E.
v0.125 I have recently compiled. Named 'ShifterMame360',
in a nutshell, this supports only parent* roms of working* 360 degree wheel
driving games ( * with a few exceptions). The point of this build is mainly to
fix some of the rather annoying 'toggle' hi/lo shifter inputs (eg Pole
Position), and to hook up dial inputs etc where possible. I have slightly
altered the refresh rates of some games, to not exceed 59.85Hz, in order to
avoid frame-skipping issues with a lot of video hardware (including but not
exclusive to both generations of ArcadeVGA). I have also made some other changes
to make configuring controls easier. Please see the document included in the
download for full details - grab it here. 08 / 03 / 08 Seems to be overdue for my annual website
update...so here it is, a new version of
MAMEWAH!
- get it here. Also, a while back I added some
pictures of my almost complete cabinet. If you have
sent me pics of your cabinet, apologies for the delay but I will get to adding
these soon... |
